Who we are
Logan Consultancy is a business growth and sales consultancy operated as a sole trader by Ashley Logan in the United Kingdom.
For the purposes of UK data protection law, Logan Consultancy is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at ashley@logan-consultancy.com about anything on this page.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry through this website we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, company name, email address, telephone number, the type of support you are looking for and the content of your message.
If you contact us by email, telephone or on professional networks, we hold the correspondence and contact details you provide.
Like any website, our hosting infrastructure processes limited technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability purposes.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, and you should not send confidential client or commercial data through the enquiry form.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use enquiry information to respond to you, arrange an initial consultation, prepare proposals and deliver consultancy work. Our lawful basis is that the processing is necessary to take steps towards a contract with you, or is in our legitimate interests as a business responding to a commercial enquiry.
We use technical data on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping this website secure and working properly.
We do not add enquirers to marketing lists and we do not send unsolicited marketing. If we ever introduce a newsletter or similar communications, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.
Who we share information with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers we rely on to run the business, such as our website hosting and email providers, who process it on our instructions.
Where an engagement involves technology or automation implementation, relevant details may be shared with our implementation partner EKKO so that work can be scoped and delivered. This only happens with your agreement.
We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law, or to our professional advisers where necessary.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept only for as long as needed to deal with the conversation and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
Where an engagement follows, we keep records relating to the work for as long as required to deliver it and to meet our business, accounting and tax obligations.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including restricted access, reputable hosting and email providers, and encrypted connections to this website. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information by email.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on providers that offer protections recognised under UK data protection law, such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email ashley@logan-consultancy.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy periodically and will update this page if our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
